MALINDI

The ancient Swahili town of Malindi has long been a popular Indian Ocean destination for British anglers seeking the thrill and excitement of fishing tropical blue water for billfish, along with the numerous other hard fighting species of saltwater game fish that are caught here.

These fish-rich waters are home to billfish, sailfish, broadbill swordfish and black, striped and blue marlin. Sharks to over 1000 pounds, tuna, wahoo, kingfish, dorado, barracuda, snapper and giant trevally all add to this wonderful experience.

You will fish from boats of the Paul family’s Kingfisher fleet, a long established operation that has guided clients to many world records. And after an exhausting day’s fishing, there’s nothing better than a cold drink or two at the Malindi Fishing Club.
