Sailing from Longyearbyen, the modest but fascinating major township on Spitsbergen, we offer a 5 night/6 day Adventure Cruise holiday, and longer 8 night/7day or 10 night/11day Expedition Cruise Holidays.

Being so far north, itineraries for these journeys are not set, but are determined by the prevailing conditions.

The Adventure Cruise aims to explore the fjords and glaciers of Spitsbergen’s west coast, whilst the Expedition Cruise on-board ‘Polar Star’ – the first icebreaker converted to expedition cruise standards – heads into more remote areas, crossing the 80º parallel. In the ‘Realm of the Polar Bear’, you can expect to see arctic mammals and sea birds as you sail close to the shore with frequent landings by zodiac.
